Pinktober is ending soon and you’ve probably seen enough pink and heard enough stats and facts on breast cancer by now. So we only have two things to say in support of this noble cause…
First, stop worrying and be happy.
While there is no strong evidence to prove that stress could cause cancer, stress does affect your immune system and your hormone levels. Prolonged periods of stress are known to cause mental health problems such as anxiety and depression. On top of that, stress commonly leads to unhealthy habits like smoking, overeating or overdrinking, which leads to physical stress! A combination of these could ultimately contribute to health problems such as cancer.
Now don’t go stressing about stress! Small doses of stress can be positive, making us more alert and pushing us to improve ourselves. So stop worrying and be happy. Treat yourself right by eating healthy and keeping fit, do things that make you happy, surround yourself with upbeat people. Dessert for breakfast? Go ahead if it makes you happy! Just remember to practice self-control and balance your lifestyle well and we reckon you’ll be alright.
Just to make sure they’re lump free and all that self-control has paid off 😉
If you haven’t done it before, here is how you do it.
Can’t wait for Movember!
